Internal Assessment:
Conducted as per the guidance of the university following the Academic calendar. The marks obtained in the internal assessments are submitted to the University Portal for all types of courses (Theory/ Practical/ Sessional). For theory courses four Continuous Assessments (CA1, CA2, CA3 & CA4) and for Practical courses two Continuous Assessments PCA1 & PCA2 are conducted as per the MAKAUT, West Bengal instructions and guidelines.
The Mandatory Additional Requirement (MAR) program for earning degree at MAKAUT (Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology) is designed to encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities and develop their holistic potential. MAR program aims to promote extracurricular activities and holistic student development. It encourages students to engage in activities beyond their course curriculum. It provides a platform for students to develop their skills and gain experience in various areas.
Students need to earn a minimum number of activity points (25 activity points per academic year and a total of 100 points throughout their 4-year curriculum or 75 points for a 3-year curriculum) per academic year through various activities, such as seminars, social work, and online courses, to be eligible for their degree. Students must submit certificates of completion for each activity they participate in as proof of their involvement.
External Examination:
Conducted at the teaching end of the semester by the University as per the academic calendar, managed by college examination cell, strictly as per the instructions of MAKAUT, West Bengal.
Answer Scripts Scrutiny / Review: The process of Post Publication Scrutiny (PPS) and Post Publication Review (PPR) after the publication of results is conducted by the MAKAUT. Students have to apply through the defined process of the university.
